4×4 Safari Landcruiser/ Hardtop

Land cruiser 70 Series is popularly known as 4×4 safari Land cruiser in Uganda and legendary around the world. This is the premium vehicle for safari tours in Africa. Most of the tours and travel company use the 4×4 safari land cruiser for transportation of their guests to the various natural tourism destinations. It is the most rugged and reliable vehicle for handling the toughest road and weather condition the wilderness of Africa can put out. Self driving in Uganda as a car rental company has a handful of the 4×4 safari landcruiser in its car garage and can only be hired out with a driver. The option of self drive is not available for the Landcruiser hardtop due to the technicality needed to drive it.

Vehicle size: The Landcruiser 70 series has dimensions; Length 4720mm, Width 1770mm, Height 1955mm, Wheelbase 2730mm, ground clearance 230mm. it is such a huge vehicle. It has five doors, two fronts, two in the middle and a double door at the rear.

Seat capacity: There are models that take up 6 occupants and those of 8 occupants. Two seat upfront, six or four in the wagon area two on each row facing in front and each seat is stationed besides a window.

Colour: The Landcruiser hardtops originally come in the white colour but travel companies change them into green and cream to appeal to the wildlife environment.

Comfort and convenience: 4×4 safari landcruiser is commodious in all ways. The seats are spacious and comfortable for long distance and bumpy travel. It has a music system with a FM radio, USB port for MP3 play and CD player. It has a great air conditioning system that can reach every corner of the vehicle. Air bag system for both driver and co-driver. Central door locking and child lock at the rear are also available.  Most of our safari landcruisers come with a cooling box/mini fridge to store drinks and fruits.

Mechanics: Land cruiser 70 series is a 4WD vehicle that can handle any kind of terrain in this world. It is manual transmission. The engine model is 1KHZ and with Maximum power (kw/rpm) 96/3800.

Fuel consumption:  Land cruiser hardtop is a fuel guzzler with an engine displacement of 4164cc. It consumes one litre of fuel per 5 kilometres on urban road and 4 kilometres on highway.
